Logwood

Logwood (Xylosma japonicum) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 10 m high and 6 m spread, with a oval canopy form. Its recorded local performance is very reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Xylosma japonicum belongs to the Xylosma genus within the Salicaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
