Japanese Pagoda Tree

Japanese Pagoda Tree (Styphnolobium japonicum) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 15 m high and 9 m spread, with a oval canopy form. Its noted amenity value is prominent flowers. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Styphnolobium japonicum belongs to the Styphnolobium genus within the Fabaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
