Brazilian Fern Tree

Brazilian Fern Tree (Schizolobium parahyba) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 18 m high and 6 m spread, with a irregular canopy form. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Schizolobium parahyba belongs to the Schizolobium genus within the Fabaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
