Cork Oak

Cork Oak (Quercus suber) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 18 m high and 18 m spread, with a rounded canopy form. Its noted amenity value is interesting bark. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Quercus suber belongs to the Quercus genus within the Fagaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience. It is an Australian native we grow and specify regularly.
