Indian Mast Tree

Indian Mast Tree (Polyalthia longifolia) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 15 m high and 2 m spread, with a conical/columnar/upright canopy form. Its noted amenity value is interesting foliage. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Polyalthia longifolia belongs to the Polyalthia genus within the Annonaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
