Singapore Frangipani

Singapore Frangipani (Plumeria obtusa) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 8 m high and 8 m spread, with a spreading canopy form. Its noted amenity value is prominent flowers. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Plumeria obtusa belongs to the Plumeria genus within the Apocynaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
