Chir Pine

Chir Pine (Pinus roxburghii) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 20 m high and 15 m spread, with a oval canopy form. Its noted amenity value is interesting bark. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Pinus roxburghii belongs to the Pinus genus within the Pinaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
