Syrian Ketmia

Syrian Ketmia (Hibiscus syriacus) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 5 m high and 3 m spread, with a conical/columnar/upright canopy form. Its noted amenity value is prominent flowers. Its recorded local performance is very reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Hibiscus syriacus belongs to the Hibiscus genus within the Malvaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
