Tulipwood

Tulipwood (Harpullia pendula) is a locally indigenous tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 14 m high and 8 m spread, with a oval canopy form. Its noted amenity value is prominent fruit. Its recorded local performance is very reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Harpullia pendula belongs to the Harpullia genus within the Sapindaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience. It is an Australian native we grow and specify regularly.
