Meditteranean Dwarf Palm

Meditteranean Dwarf Palm (Chamaerops humilis) is a exotic tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 6 m high and 3 m spread, with a palm canopy form. Its recorded local performance is somewhat reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Chamaerops humilis belongs to the Chamaerops genus within the Arecaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience.
