Blackwood

Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) is a australian native tree included in the City of Sydney tree species list. Council data indicates approximately 10 m high and 8 m spread, with a rounded canopy form. Its recorded local performance is very reliable. Final selection should still account for available soil volume, services, exposure and the mature canopy required on the site.

Acacia melanoxylon belongs to the Acacia genus within the Fabaceae family. It performs reliably across temperate, subtropical, urban zones in our experience. It is an Australian native we grow and specify regularly.
